As part of your revision, get to know you calculator. Did you know that you can earn a lot of marks just by using the functions that are available to you on your device. Try investigating how to do the following on your calculator (which are not commonly taught!):

• Write a number as a product of its prime factors (FACT button)

• Use the time button to help with time calculations

• Use the table function in the menu to plot graphs (along with alpha+x)

• Shift+ StoD, to convert mixed numbers to improper fractions

If you can do those, there’s potentially access to another 10 marks or so for you on the paper!
